Cub Scouting is a year-round family program designed for boys who are in first grade through fifth grade (or 7, 8, 9, and 10 years of age). We currently have sixty-five scouts in the program and look forward to your son joining us soon. We take new members throughout the year.
Cub Scout Pack 234 provides an informal educational program for boys designed to train in the responsibilities of citizenship, provide growth in moral strength and character and to enhance the development of physical, mental, and emotional fitness. All is done in the spirit of fun.
Cub Scout leaders and parents work together helping the boys in achieving the ten purposes of Cub Scouting:
• Character Development
• Spiritual Growth
• Good Citizenship
• Sportsmanship and Fitness
• Family Understanding
• Respectful Relationships
• Personal Achievement
• Friendly Service
• Fun and Adventure
• Preparation for Boy Scouts
Nearly every meeting, event and activity in Scouting has personal growth as one of its explicit goals. Not only do Scouts develop new knowledge and skills, they also receive encouragement in positive and healthy values and attitudes. As a Catholic Sponsored Unit, our unit is understood to be an extension of Holy Trinity School’s youth ministry.
