A Pro-Life Symposium on the "Culture of Life & Culture of Love" was held on Sat. June 14th at Mary Star of the Sea parish.  See some photos of the event by pressing the button at the bottom of the page.


Trent Horn from Catholic Answers, one of the top Catholic apologists in the nation, was the featured speaker.  He gave a talk entitled "Pro-Life Catholic 101:  Reasons why Catholics are pro-life; A simple way to defend the pro-life position".

Dr. Peggy Hartshorn's speech was entitled:  "Practical Ways to be Pro-Life: Practical ways to be involved; A tried-and-true approach to help an expectant mom/dad in need".

Fr. Alan Benander spoke on "Building a Culture of Love & a Culture of Life - Proper understanding of authentic "love" and its importance to build a culture of life; Spiritual ways to support the pro-life cause".
